Has so may definitions and sounds and meanings. It is versatile, the only word capable of remotely expressing such emotion, and yet it fails. It fails because it is only one word where we need hundreds. I find myself spending so much breath simply to define what I mean in saying "love" only to grope around blind, loosely and with much struggling and stumbling, create a shape in the dark, hoping maybe you will kind of understand what I'm getting at. You see, there is a reason so many people have made love part of every poem and story and expression of self since the dawning of time. It's because they didn't. The thousands and millions of emotions and sensations expressed by thousands and millions of different people over thousands of years are all expressed by one insufficient beautiful word, that by nature expresses the fundamental root of all these emotions and feelings - that they all are in one form of the other the same, in essence.
I do not use it lightly. I make a great deal of consideration before deciding to use this word. But I use it broadly, with a scope, use, meaning and intension as large as it's history. Do not underestimate the intensity and depth of this word on my breath. But do not misinterpret it either. I do not adopt the many impressions and luggage that society ties onto "love." I do my best with the words I have. If I could show you, I would - I do not think or feel in words. I wish that I could show you...
